BUET student Fardin was killed
Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) student Fardin Noor Parash (24) was killed. He suffered multiple injuries on his head and chest. Sheikh Farhad, the Resident Medical Officer of Narayanganj General Hospital, said this after the autopsy on Tuesday (November 8) at around 11:30 am.
Doctor Sheikh Farhad said, initially it is believed that he was killed. Details can be given after getting the autopsy report.
Earlier on Monday (November 7) afternoon, Fardeen's body was found floating in Shitalakshya river behind Lakshmi Narayan Cotton Mill adjacent to Banani Ghat.
Fardin was the son of Kazi Nuruddin Rana of Nayamati area of Qutubpur, Deulpara, Narayanganj. He currently lived in Shanti Bagh Konapara area of Demra, Dhaka. Parash was a third year student of civil engineering department at BUET.
Siddhirganj Thana Police Inspector (Investigation) Hafizur Rahman Manik said, “We informed the Narayanganj Naval Police after seeing the body of an unidentified youth floating in Shitalakshya River on Monday afternoon. Naval police recovered the body from the river and took it for legal action. The body was later identified.”
He also said that the deceased Fardin was missing since November 4. After the disappearance, the victim's father Kazi Nooruddin filed a General Diary (GD) at the Rampura police station on November 5. Further legal action in this regard is pending.
